Electric Vehicle

I'm giving serious consideration to building myself an electric vehicle. Although there those who have converted their mass-production petrol/diesel vehicles to electric, there are only a few that have built their own from scratch. I have built a kit car in the past (when I was 17) and to my mind, kit-cars and electric vehicle technology (and ethos), seem to be a great match, but I don't yet know of anyone who's built one...
